Who we are

Personal, modern and innovative

May we introduce?

This is Yugen

We are an independent digital design and developer studio based in Frankfurt, Germany. Our team has a common goal: to create engaging, practical and beautiful digital experiences.

Our story

Yugen was founded in 2017 by Lea Hirschmüller and Leif Löffler. The company has now made over a quarter of a million users worldwide happy with its products.

What does ‘yugen’ mean?

The word ‘yugen’ is Japanese. The meaning is described as “a profound awareness of the universe that triggers feelings too deep for words.”

Just wonderful! And at a fair price. I really enjoyed the cooperation. Everything was straightforward and friendly.”

What’s important to us

Our values

Create more than you consume – at Yugen we live and work sustainably. For us, this also means living a minimalist life and giving our planet, our society and our environment more than we take.

Authentic

Nobody is perfect. We believe that the best work comes when everyone is allowed to be themselves at all times. Diversity and different opinions make us strong.

Sustainable

We want to give more and create more than we take from this planet. That is why we set high standards for ourselves and our products.

Have fun

Life is short. So why not enjoy it while we’re here. Our work is fun and awesome and we want to share this joy with others.
